South Downs Way - linear bus walk

Join walk leader Ros on this challenging 12.5 mile walk along the South Downs Way. You will walk across the downland towards Butts Brow with stunning views of Eastbourne. From there, you'll drop down through farmland to Jevington (home of the banoffee pie!) and then along to Alfriston, passing the Long Man of Wilmington and the tiny Lullington Church. After lunch you'll walk along the banks of the Cuckmere River, hopefully seeing various wild fowl. The first part of the walk is more challenging with a steep climb out of Jevington. Please be advised that wet weather could mean an amended route with more hills.
