Join walk leader John Spencer on this circular walk along the Downs. Starting at Butts Brow, this challenging 15 mile walk will take a mostly rural route, with a few road crossings and short sections without pavements. Although challenging, walkers will be rewarded with magnificent scenery and you can enjoy breaks at Litlington and East Dean. There are several gates and various stiles with mostly uneven terrain with sharp inclines and declines in places. There will be widespread livestock. Your walk leader will contact you in the event of heavy rain as this walk may need to be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

Public transport to/from meeting point: Various buses (1, 1A, 51, 54, 98) to Wish Hill Post Office but with a walk up Church Street, Coopers Hill, Butts Lane to car park. Free parking for Eastbourne residents with residents card (from EBC) at Butts Brow.
Please bring plenty of water and a packed lunch. Refreshments can be purchased during breaks in Litlington and East Dean and toilet facilities can also be located here.
