Join John Riley on this 6.5 mile walk from Arlington Reservoir to Upper Dicker. The mostly flat, circular walk will be along country footpaths (which can be muddy after heavy rain) whilst taking in the beautiful scenery of the reservoir, Michelham Priory and churches along the way. There are approximately 14 stiles- one of which we will stop to admire as it is a rare 'clapper' stile gate!

Exact meeting point: Arlington Reservoir car park, Station Road, Berwick, BN26 6TF. Car park charge is £2.50 by contactless card machine.
Public transport to meeting point: Train from Eastbourne Station at 9:36am arrives at Berwick Station at 9:51am. From Berwick Station, walk along Station Road to Arlington Reservoir (this takes approximately 5-10 minutes). Return trains hourly at 13:25 and 14:25. Check train times.
Please ensure you bring plenty of refreshments for the walk and stop at Upper Dicker. Refreshments can be purchased at Village Shop at Upper Dicker and from the kiosk at Arlington Reservoir if it is open. Toilet facilities can be found at Arlington Reservoir at the beginning and end of the walk.
